My Tahoe by Center Hill lake .........enough said.
I'm 26 years old, and I currently live in South Carolina. I moved here in 2003 when my wife got a job in the area straight out of college. I am originally from TN. I grew up hunting with my dad and friends and fishing with my grandpa. There wasn't anything better then being in the woods or on the water with nothing or no one around.
When I was in middle school, I started caving and rock climbing. You really lose yourself in total darkness. You truly have to watch you step while you are in a cave. All you can see is what your flashlight is on, and you never know what’s next. You just keep pushing until you can’t go any further, and no matter how tired, muddy, or wet you get, you can’t stop and give up because you've always got the trip back out.
Since I've been in South Carolina, I spend most of my time on the water or at the shooting range. There are not really any big lakes around where I live. When I am on the water, it is mostly in the rivers and ponds. I really miss the lakes back home, such as Center Hill, but there is nothing like going up river in my kayak and hanging into a good size fish. Even the 2 or 3 pound bass are a good fight in a kayak, but when you hang a big one and it starts pulling you around, that’s a fight!
Like I said, I spend time on the shooting ranges around here. I like the pistol ranges, but the 200 yd. ranges are where I love to go. I can be there for two or three hours and only shoot about 25 rounds and still leave happy.
Currently, I am starting to get into photography. I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures of the outdoors so my wife thought it would be a good idea to take it to the next level. I guess we’ll see how that goes.
